As the name suggests, the new SXT Velox MAX is the maxi version of the SXT Velox, which was successfully launched on the market 2 years ago.
The differences are in the frame and tire size. In addition, the SXT Velox MAX e-bike has a gear mechanism so that you can travel comfortably even over longer distances.
The proven magnesium alloy of its predecessor is used for the frame material. The 20 inch wheels are of course equipped with pneumatic tires and tubes and mounted with a wheelbase of 110cm.
Despite the larger dimensions of the SXT Velox MAX (see product photos for comparison with the SXT Velox), it can also be folded to a space-saving size of only 90 x 42 x 80 cm (LxWxH) and thus stowed in the storage space of the motorhome or caravan, for example. The total size when unfolded is 158 x 58 x 110cm (LxWxH).
The front and rear lighting, the built-in reflectors and the speed limit correspond to the maximum values prescribed for pedelecs. The brushless hub motor on the rear wheel provides the max. permitted 250 W.
The battery embedded in the frame is a 36V lithium ion battery with a capacity of 280 Wh (36V 7.8 Ah) - this enables a range of up to max. 80 km. The frame is approved for a payload of up to 120 kg.
In contrast to the SXT Velox, the SXT Velox MAX also has a 6-speed Shimano Tourney gearshift so that you can comfortably move forward even on longer distances at different speeds. The built-in brake system is a disc brake system at the front as well as at the rear.
The height of the saddle is adjustable and, in addition to the comfortable padding, the frame is sprung on the rear side by a central shock absorber.
