We have designed the new model SXT Buddy V2 - eKFV, built according to the new Small Electric Vehicle Ordinance, on the basis of the already well-known SXT Buddy V2. We have summarized the most relevant differences below.
Differences between the so-called "eKFV model" and the standard model:
certified lighting system front and rear
max.speed of 20 km / h
Delivery including general operating permit (ABE)
Rear license plate holder
In addition to the two extremely durable drum brakes at the front and rear, the SXT Buddy V2 - eKFV is made up of the 8.5 inch pneumatic tires, which ensure an extremely stable, quiet and safe driving experience. The high-quality aluminum frame with its slim line attracts attention - we rightly think so! Thanks to its large lithium battery with LG brand cells and a capacity of 374.4 Wh, the SXT Buddy V2 - eKFV ensures a lot of driving pleasure over a distance of up to 40 km.
Folded to compact dimensions, the SXT Buddy V2 eKFV can easily be found in all means of public transport, which makes it the perfect companion for commuters. In addition to the charger, the scope of delivery also includes a tool set and a practical, high-quality air pump.
Attention!Minimum age 14 years - no helmet required, no license required.
Note for customers from Switzerland and Austria: This scooter model is also within the legal requirements in these two countries, ie. may also legally operated there in road traffic (in this case, registration-free).
Place your foot on the step and simultaneously press the release lever on the folding mechanism. At the same time, grab the handlebars with both hands and push them forward away from you. The release lever comes loose and you can fold the scooter easily and with little effort. Never use force or tools - this is never necessary.
Brake pads wear out during use. All disc brakes always have an inner and an outer brake pad. The inner one (towards the wheel) is always fixed, while the outer one can move back and forth. After a certain time, the inner lining must therefore be readjusted and slightly adjusted towards the brake disc in order to ensure an even and safe braking process again. To do this, readjust the large adjusting screw on the inside of the brake calliper accordingly.
It is also possible that the brake pads have reached their run-off / wear limit and need to be replaced with new ones.
On vehicles with drum brakes, you can readjust them using the Bowden cable and the locking screw.
As a rule, the fault here is that a plug is loose somewhere or that it fails due to a loose connection.
Something small that is preventing the scooter from flowing electricity in all the major parts. For example, it can also be due to a missing blade fuse / not activated main fuse.
The scooter is activated, i.e. the front light lights up, the LEDs light up but the engine does not turn: 1. The side stand
must be raised for the throttle to work. 2. The plug connections on the control unit must be checked here.
Unplug individually and reconnect. Also check the wiring from the throttle grip - this is the cable from the throttle grip
come follow and check.
The rims can be divided into two parts. Please remove the necessary screws and take one part to the left and the other to the right in order to be able to change the tire quickly and easily.
When assembling the rim/s, please pay attention to fixing points, such as valve recesses.
