The SXT Velox is the first pedelec in our product range. The special feature of the SXT Velox is the high-end frame made of a magnesium alloy, which consists of a unibody design - without any joints or welds, which makes the frame extremely stable and resistant.
The e-bike can be folded in just a few easy steps and can thus be reduced to extremely compact dimensions quickly and easily. Right next to the folding mechanism, also sits the battery compartment in which the 36V lithium ion battery powered by high end LG 18650 cells is fixed and housed theft-proof. The battery itself comes in high-quality aluminum housing and can be removed at the attached carrying handle after unlocking with the supplied key in no time. The charging time of the battery with the supplied 2A charger is 2.5 hours. The range is up to 65 km in Eco mode with a motor support up to max. 25 km / h.
The brushless DC hub motor has an engine output of 250W and a torque of 12 Nm and can be controlled in 3 different levels - Sport / Normal and Eco mode to be as energy efficient as possible on the road, or to have access to full engine power when needed for managing inclines.
The SXT Velox has a central shock absorber on the rear wheel, which together with the 16-inch pneumatic tires ensures a comfortable ride. Included in delivery is an LED front and rear light. The ergonomically-shaped saddle is height-adjustable and extended seat posts, as well as a different gear ratio for the front sprocket on which the pedals sit, are available as an option to adjust the pedaling speed at higher speeds if desired.
Attached to the handlebar is the control unit with an LCD display, where the battery level, the current speed, the distance driven as well as the different speed modes are easy to read and can be adjusted.
The weight of the SXT Velox incl. battery is 18.9 kg and is suitable for a payload of up to 120 kg.
Brake pads wear out during use. All disc brakes always have an inner and an outer brake pad. The inner one (towards the wheel) is always fixed, while the outer one can move back and forth. After a certain time, the inner lining must therefore be readjusted and slightly adjusted towards the brake disc in order to ensure an even and safe braking process again. To do this, readjust the large adjusting screw on the inside of the brake calliper accordingly.
It is also possible that the brake pads have reached their run-off / wear limit and need to be replaced with new ones.
On vehicles with drum brakes, you can readjust them using the Bowden cable and the locking screw.
